Zhejiang Gate Towers

HIOC is a mixed use development in Zhejiang, Hangzhou. It is located at the southern bank of Qiantang river . The main tower is 300 meters high, and will be the landmark building of Qianjiang Century City.  It is directly connected to public transit and has the potential to  become a multimodal hub for businessmen, visitors and residents at the new city financial  center.

Parametric Façade

The rotation of each hotel units are controlled by scripts based on solar analysis. It enforces the exterior surface into a waveform. The metal panels and the shading glasses were assigned to the surfaces of this form. They block the direct sun and allow the views from inside.
